Why Everyone’s Menopause Journey—and Routine—Looks Different And why that’s not just okay—it’s necessary.

When it comes to managing menopause symptoms, there’s no single plan, product, or perfect routine that works for everyone. You may already know this in your gut—but it’s easy to forget when you’re bombarded with advice on what you should be doing.
Let me remind you of something powerful:
You’re not behind. You’re not doing it wrong. You’re just doing it your way.
Your Body, Your Blueprint
Every woman enters perimenopause or menopause with a unique story. Your hormones are only part of it. Your genetics, daily stress, past health history, sleep patterns, lifestyle habits, emotional load, relationships, and work environment—they all shape how your body responds in this season.
That’s why your best friend might swear by high-intensity workouts, while your body responds better to long walks and mobility work. That’s why one woman finds relief with hormone therapy, while another thrives using herbs, food, and rest.
There is no “right” way—only the way that honors you.
Your Symptoms Are Speaking to You
Hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, weight changes, and brain fog aren’t just random. They’re signals, not failures. Your body is asking for attention, care, and sometimes change.
Sometimes the answer is straightforward—like eating more protein, lifting heavier weights, or setting better boundaries. Other times, it’s messier. You try a supplement, it doesn’t help. You start walking daily and suddenly your sleep improves. You cut caffeine and realize your anxiety eases.
It’s not linear—and that’s normal.
Give yourself permission to be curious instead of critical.
The Comparison Trap Is Real
In a world full of social media “solutions,” it’s easy to compare your symptoms—or your healing—to someone else’s highlight reel. But here’s the truth:
What works for someone else’s body, schedule, or lifestyle may not feel right in yours.
Maybe your day starts at 5 AM because you work early. Maybe your sleep is broken because of kids, pets, or stress. Maybe you’re just too exhausted to do another 10-step routine.
You are not lazy.
You are living a life.
You’re allowed to start small. You’re allowed to do what fits. You’re allowed to change course.
Your Routine Can—and Should—Change
What worked a year ago might not feel great now. And what feels good today might need to shift next month. That doesn’t mean you’re failing—it means your body is evolving.
You are allowed to evolve with it.
That’s one of the reasons I love working 1:1 with women:
We create routines that flex and breathe with your life—not some rigid “plan” that doesn’t account for the real stuff like fatigue, grief, hormone shifts, and unexpected joy.
You Deserve Support That Feels Like Home
At Rekindle with Kim, I believe symptom relief shouldn’t come with shame, hustle, or pressure. I believe in strategies that support your whole self—mind, body, and nervous system.
That means:
🌿 Nutrition that nourishes without obsession
💪 Movement that feels strong, not punishing
😴 Rest that’s prioritized, not postponed
🧘♀️ Nervous system care that helps you feel safe in your own skin again
We don’t aim for perfect—we aim for possible.
Let’s Rekindle What Feels Like
