You’d think being a nurse and personal trainer would give me a head start in managing midlife changes.
But here’s the truth…
I’m a nurse and trainer who struggles with weight—despite consistent workouts, knowing what nutrition I need, and doing “all the right things.”
I’m a nurse and trainer who wakes up drenched in night sweats, who stares into the fridge too tired to make a decision, who sometimes walks into a room and forgets why I’m there.
I’m a nurse and trainer who has days I just don’t feel right.
And I used to wonder: Is it perimenopause? Is it stress? Is it just getting older?
The answer?
Yes. And more.
🌀 The Perimenopause Puzzle
Here’s what I’ve learned—both personally and professionally:
✅ Perimenopause doesn’t look the same for everyone.
Some women struggle with sleep. Others feel anxious. Some struggle with weight. Others feel like they’re losing themselves. Some women have all the symptoms.
✅ It’s real.
These symptoms aren’t “just part of being a woman” or something you’re imagining. They’re rooted in real hormonal shifts—and they deserve real support.
✅ There is no one-size-fits-all fix.
But there are strategies that work when they’re matched to you.

I used to think I had to “have it all together” to coach other women. But I’ve realized the opposite is true.
I get it because I’m living it.
I’ve done the research, read the studies, and coached clients through it. But I’ve also had to coach myself through nights of brain fog and mornings of body aches.
That’s why I’m here—to help you decode your body, reconnect with your strength, and stop feeling like you’re the only one struggling.
